Move over Mr. Macy, Kaplan students and staff are poised to take the title for “Best Thanksgiving Day Parade.” This year’s lineup featured a slew of Walt Disney movie favorites, including characters from the Mickey Mouse Club, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cars.
The parade route was perfectly decorated, and thanks to stadium seating and a giant viewing screen, not a moment of pageantry was missed by the record crowd.
Mr. Disney was quoted in the parade program saying, “ You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream reality…”
When it comes to the Kaplan School, and its parades, these words ring true.
