Thanks to a Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act grant, the new Youth Connections program is up and running at the BOCES Educational Resource Center in Nyack. More than 100 participants ages 14-21 are already enrolled to complete high school, receive job training, and secure paid work experience. The initiative, which serves Rockland’s out-of-school and at-risk, in-school youth, is a partnership between Rockland BOCES and the Rockland County Career Center.
